Description

Sørli Visitor Farm is an old homestead in the forest by Nøklevann in Østmarka, near the settlement on Bøler. The farm operates according to ecological and regenerative principles, emphasizing cycles and biological diversity.

Farm Features:
- Animals: Greet sheep, rabbits, and chickens.
- Vegetable Garden: Visit during the season to see a variety of vegetables, fruits, and berries. Kale and many other varieties are grown here.
- Educational Focus: Learn about the journey of food from farm to table.

Open Yard for the Public:
- School Holidays: Open weekdays from 11:00 - 15:00, closed on weekends.
- Amenities: Benches and tables available in the courtyard. Often, a fire pan is lit during the winter season.
- Special Events: Food grown on the farm is sometimes served.

Teaching for Schools and Kindergartens:
- Year-Round Program: Offers free tuition for school classes with an educational program tailored to the farm's annual cycle.
- Activities: Children learn about the entire process from farm to table and participate in farm life. They also learn about the cultural landscape and the forest in Østmarka.
