Description

Bogstad Farm is beautifully situated in Sørkedalen, about 10 kilometers from downtown Oslo, and is known for its organic operations.

Organic Operations:
- Production: Oats/wheat, potatoes, beef, and lamb from Bogstad are organically grown.
- Feed: The farm grows the grass feed for all the animals themselves.

Animals at the Farm:
- In the barn, you can meet, pet, and learn about the animals.
- During the summer, many of the animals graze in the area around Bogstad.

Visits:
- School classes and kindergartens must schedule visits in advance.
- Activities include:
- Visits to the barn
- Lambing
- Sheep shearing
- Potato harvesting
- Age Limit: For kindergartens, the group age limit is 3 years.

Transport and Parking:
- Public Transport: You can travel to Bogstad Farm by public transport. Check schedules on ruter.no.
- Parking: There is a parking lot a few hundred meters from the farm, right by the park along Sørkedalsvannet. The farm also has a few parking spaces.

Food and Drink:
- There are several benches and tables outside on the grounds at Bogstad Farm. Check the opening hours for Bogstad Farm Café.

Special Note: The last Sunday of each month features an open barn from 12:00 - 16:00. The office is primarily available by phone Tuesday - Friday, 12:00 - 16:00.
